First test shots from the Leica M9. I planned to shoot only black and white with this new camera, but there is something about the colour rendition of the lens that I really love. I’m also really enjoying the way the camera is forcing me to slow down and shoot more methodically - the results feel more intimate to me.

Shot on location in Miami, Florida with the US Olympic sailing team, the Jackson family (the kayakers, not the musicians), and an exceptional crew of hard-working folks who weren’t afraid to get wet. Final images are under wraps for now, but I will be able to share some in the coming weeks.
